In honor of National Perimenopause Awareness Month, The Midst is hosting an honest and helpful conversation about how nutrition and movement can set us up for success at this time in life and beyond.
Join us for a virtual event on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 2-3 pm, ET, where an expert panel will share their best nutrition and fitness tips for women throughout our 30s, 40s, and 50s.
You'll walk away with more knowledge of what to expect from your body — and how to best care for yourself — leading up to and during perimenopause, along with how to roll with the inevitable changes when they come.

About the panelists
Jenn Huber
Dr. Jenn Salib Huber is a Canadian Registered Dietitian, Naturopathic Doctor, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, and she's on a mission to help women thrive in midlife.
Jenn helps women navigate the physical and emotional changes that happen in perimenopause and menopause, including their search for food freedom and body confidence, working from a health-at-every-size approach.
Jenn is the host of “The Midlife Feast,” a podcast for women who are hungry for more. She offers support to help women feel like themselves again through her 1:1 and group coaching programs and menopause nutrition hub, The Midlife Feast Community.

Dana Lawson
Dana Lawson is a certified health coach and menopause expert. She spent 15 years in the health and wellness industry and understands the importance of maintaining optimal health.
However, when she reached menopause at age 51, Dana was faced with crushing fatigue, debilitating hot flashes, lack of sleep, weight gain, and depression. She tried everything she knew — this time, however, nothing seemed to work. Dana used the feelings of confusion and frustration to inspire her to seek answers for herself. But she didn't stop there.
Dana's mission is to help all women — especially women of color — to understand what's happening to their hormones during the menopause transition and why. With her menopause training, she teaches how to get rid of symptoms and improve overall health with high-quality nutrition, sleep improvements, stress management, and intentional exercise.
Dana also helps women create mindset shifts in order to develop a positive relationship with their bodies so that they can confidently embrace midlife and be the happiest, healthiest version of themselves.

Melanie Steele, RD, MSCP
Melanie Steele supports women across the menopause transition as a dietitian and Menopause Society-certified practitioner.
Leaving her hospital job in clinical dietetics to start her virtual practice and help the people-over-forty crowd with their nutrition, she realized many women were caught off guard by perimenopause symptoms, making eating what’s best for them difficult.
Using her unique combination of credentials, Melanie has created a signature program to help women feel nourished, energized, and confident about their transition through menopause.
When not busting the latest menopause-related nutritional myth, you’ll find Melanie trying to sneak in a run or answer the world’s most challenging questions from her insatiably curious daughters.

Elise Tzurkov
Elise Tzurkov is the owner and CEO of FFWE, a company whose mission is to help women over 40 thrive, unapologetically, from the inside out. Together with her team, she works with women in perimenopause and menopause, proving that the best years are still ahead and filled with health, mobility, and hotness.
Elise is a mom of three and a full-time pancreas, along with her husband, for her son with type 1 diabetes.
