Saying “yes” to Botox: Why most Gen X women don’t raise a brow

Over 90% of Botox users are women, most being in their 40s and early 50s. While the FDA-approved botulinum toxin is considered safe, the results offer more than just a wrinkle-free face.

“I’d rather be caught naked than without Botox!” belted my 49-year-old girlfriend as we GALs gabbed over coffee. No one looked surprised. A frozen, wrinkle-free face seems as common as touching-up grays nowadays, with more than 4 million people in the U.S. getting Botox injections every year.
