Happy bday! I love the current "f-ck midlife your in the Midst"....all of the new versions feel too white washed polished versions of women I know most of my friends and I cannot stand to look at -- and that make us feel inadequate. Give it to us raw and dirty sistas!!
Absotutely! Gotta walk my talk with deconstructing patriarchy - helping us all see the invisible hand of the System and break it apart. Seeing perfect looking all put together women when we are talking about mid life seems contrary. I read deeper and see you are focused on career women...which I am not per se. But I just feel like you will reach more women showing the truth of this time of life -- it is f'ed up!
Agree, and I loved the F-ck! We're Gen X (or Xish) and we shouldn't be ashamed of that middle finger. And the others just seem too open ended? Even my current top choice, "going through it together" is too open-ended. What is "it" and why should someone care that "we" are "together"? Like the Eff middle Age one was very clear and to the point, and it oozes a vibe.
Happy Birthday, MIDST. I agree with Holli though, especially with inadequacy when we measure ourselves up to others in real life or 'socials' However, that is our inadequacy which I would like to teach others to move on from. I am not inadequate --- neither are you. I vote for the Playing by our own rules. Skateboard is cutsy but heels can have so many meanings so as to distract.
Happy Birthday to The Midst - and here's to many, many more! I know these are all over the place, but here are some humble suggestions. I gave my vote for "Redefining purpose and possibility"!
"Redefining a mid-life experience that is anything but mid."
"Courageously embracing mid-life in The Midst of it all."
"Maneuvering through Mid-Life, together."
"Mastering mid-life through the madness" - ok, this one is my attempt at being silly :)
Happy Birthday!

I kind of agree I prefer this tagline above the others.
Good to know, Rebecca! And great to hear from you. — Amy

Hey y'all meet MacKenzie! https://the-midst.com/mackenzie-wilson/
At the risk of complicating things, what about "re-writing the rules of 35+ womanhood" or something to that effect?
Juicy! Thank you, Lauren! Love hearing alts.

Hi Vida! Love your riffs! Thank you for your creative brainstorming. You all are giving us so much to think about.
I like your first suggestion! If it needs to be shorter, it could even be “A midlife that’s anything but mid.” I love your mid- twist here.
HBD the Midst! Cheers to many more years of learning, connection and playing by our own damn rules...
