If there's one thing I need help with, it's style advice. I never know what to wear or how to combine things to make them look good. I know what I like, yet I don't know how to achieve "the look" I want. I love that advice not to wear a trend the second time around - I just can't. And, I laugh that my teenage son wants to wear knee high white socks -- that's so 80s to me. I can't go back. Thanks for a fun article about something other than what I write about on my Substack. LOVE all the fashion rule-busting in this post! It should be adopted by fashion designers in all corners of the industry, who might FINALLY wake up to the fact that we as a population have money to spend on clothes that make us look and feel the way we want to.
